Forced Placed Homeowner’s Insurance

Most mortgage agreements require a homeowner to purchase homeowner’s insurance, and most contain a provision allowing the lender to purchase at the expense of the homeowner if the homeowner fails to do so.  Lenders are not allowed, however, to purchase insurance through companies via sweetheart deals where the homeowner is charged 2 to 3 times the market rate for insurance, while the lender gets a kick back from the insurance company.

If you or someone you know is the victim of force placed homeowners insurance contact the Marshall Law Firm at 925-575-7105 or submit your complaint online.
